Villa Pauletta Guest
We had the pleasure of staying at villa Paulette for 12 nights in July. We had every intention of touring, however both the villa and the area are so stunning that we didn't want to leave, so stayed for the 12 nights in Split.
Mirko, Mladenka and Paula(the hosts) are the warmest , most helpful hosts we have ever met, and we have travelled a lot!
From the minute you arrive the hosts genuinely want you to feel special and nothing is too much trouble. The hosts pride themselves on offering outstanding service, and I really felt that this was more of a passion of ensuring that their guest have the best experience than as a business.
When we arrived the smell of fresh flowers filled the villa, there was a welcome basket and the fridge was stocked with essentials, which really helps after a long flight.
The villa is perfectly formed every inch is carefully thought through and is fully stocked, you want for nothing, in fact its home from home!
There are beautiful terraces that receive the sun , which is lovely, we liked to have afternoon pre-drinks on the terrace outside the main bedroom.
The villa is spotless, it almost feels like you are the first to stay there as everything is pristine! The attention to detail with the fresh flowers from the garden is amazing and the lighting.
The location is amazing, it honestly couldn't be located any better, it's peaceful yet 5 minutes max to all the nightlife. There is an abundance of amazing restaurants nearby.
The villa has mountain bikes that we used every day. The villa is located very close to the national forest (marjan Hill) ,which is stunning. We cycled to the top and the views are incredible. I would highly recommend that you visit whist staying.
We were not expecting a car as this is a new addition, you genuinely do not need a car , however we did use a few times. It fantastic little funky car and perfect for the lanes, and equally fine on the highway. We visited the waterfalls which was great and easy to get to.
The cave pool/Jacuzzi is totally amazing with the lights in the ceiling my youngest daughter loved this! The owners are happy to raise or lower the temperature to suit.
We didn't get to do the cinema night as the nightlife and restaurants are so good in split that we simply ran out of time. We will have to return to do this.
Mirko arranged for us to do the 5 Island tour which was amazing and highly recommended and excellent value. The blue cave experience is a must.
If you are reading this review, it maybe that you are contemplating staying at Villa Pauletta, do not hesitate book now, you will not be disappointed I would give this villa and experience 5 stars plus, or 10 out of 10 on every single aspect!
